By popular demand, Alfred Hitchcock’s North By Northwest will play for an additional week at Living Room! Considered one of Hitchcock’s most suspenseful films, it’s also the first title available in high definition. That’s great news. I love the fact that Living Room Theaters plays old Hitchcock films. I’m a 21-year old film-maker in Portland who loves his work and can’t find a local theater that would normally show his films. Rear Window is also a film that would be great to have in a Hitchcock lineup.
It’s great checking the website every so often and seeing what type of classic films they have in store for the future. There’s really nothing like watching The Shining or A Clockwork Orange on a big screen, in a dark theater with a bunch of strangers.
Perhaps we could maybe see Alien or Blade Runner in the film lineup to mix in some classic science-fiction? Especially now that we have the incredible Full Metal Jacket coming out later this month.
